This short walk to Lapstone Lookout is easily accessed from Lapstone train station. So next time you miss your train, take the short walk down to the lookout and view the Nepean River and surrounding lands. Lapstone Lookout is a great place to pass some time while enjoying a view. Let us begin by acknowledging the Dharug & Gundungurra people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started From Lapstone Station, the walk heads down the hill away from the station and town. The track soon meets a management trail.....

Start.
Then cross the bridge (about 15 m long)
Then head up the concrete steps (about 15 m long)
After another 35 m turn right.
After another 125 m veer right.
After another 90 m veer left.
Continue another 65 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 335 m to get back to the start.
About 45 m past the end is "Lapstone Nepean View".
