Starting from the car park on Harris River Road, Harris River, this walk takes you on a stroll, visiting Harris Dam. It is a little gem of a walk if you want to relax and enjoy the tranquillity in the area. You can walk across the dam and enjoy the open views of the lake before or after you have your lunch at the picnic area. Additionally, the birdlife also makes it a viable walk for enthusiasts. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Turn on to Coalfields Highway, 107, 355 then drive for 20.9 km
Turn sharp left onto Gastaldo Road and drive for another 12.5 km
Turn right and drive for another 2.4 km

Turn slight left onto Hamilton Formation and drive for another 190 m
Turn sharp right onto Tallanalla Road and drive for another 5.1 km
Turn right onto Tallanalla Road and drive for another 410 m
Turn left onto Harris River Road and drive for another 150 m
Turn slight right onto Harris River Road and drive for another 60 m

Getting started From the car park at the end of Harris River Road, head towards the building with a metal roof (the toilets). When you make it to the toilets, pass through the bollard and head along the narrow paved track going between the picnic tables. In about 60 metres (just before the riverbed), turn left at the 3-way intersection to continue along Harris Dam Walk.....
