This short return walk in Mount Kaputar National Park takes you from Kaputar Summit Road to the platform at the top of Mount Kaputar with great views over the area. Let us begin by acknowledging the Kamilaroi people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From Summit Road (730 metres northwest of intersection with Kaputar Road), head directly away from the road and towards the start of the boardwalk in the distance. Keep moving in the same direction and head along the said boardwalk towards the summit to continue along Mount Kaputar Summit Path.....

After another 85 m come to "Mount Kaputar".
"Mount Kaputar".
Turn around here and retrace the main route for 85 m to get back to the start.
