Easy track
This lovely return walk in Yarrangobilly area in Kosciuszko National Park takes you on a special journey. You will visit several caves and enjoy their beauty. Don't forget to buy tickets at Yarrangobilly Caves Visitor Centre beforehand. Let us begin by acknowledging the Wiradjuri people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

  • Turn on to Caves Entrance Road then drive for 2.6 km
  • Turn sharp left onto Caves Entrance Road and drive for another 2.9 km
  • Turn sharp right and drive for another 20 m

Start.
Find the Self Guided Cave Car Park at the start.
After another 20 m turn around.
After another 45 m veer right.
After another 35 m pass the cave (45 m on your right).
Veer left.
After another 325 m continue straight.
After another 180 m pass the "South Glory Cave" (20 m on your right).
After another 20 m pass the "North Glory Cave" (25 m on your right).
Turn left.
After another 110 m pass the "Jersey Cave" (85 m on your right).
Then pass the sign (on your right).
After another 15 m come to the viewpoint (80 m on your right).
The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Harrie Wood Cave. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip continue straight when you get back to this intersection. Details below.
After another 410 m turn left.
After another 560 m come to "Castle Cave".
Turn around here and retrace the main route for 1.6 km to get back to the start.

After another 130 m come to "Harrie Wood Cave".
The end.
Turn around and retrace your steps back the 130 m to the main route.

South Glory Cave Start (a footpath).
Find the South Glory Cave at the start.
About 25 m past the end is "North Glory Cave".
About 70 m past the end is a sign.
About 110 m past the end is "Jersey Cave".
About 125 m past the end is a viewpoint.
About 135 m past the end is "Jersey Cave Car Park".
Turn around.
Continue another 20 m to find South Glory Cave at the end.
Turn around and retrace your steps back the 40 m to the main route.
