The lake has the same name as a native species of plant.

Lake Laurel?

Yep that's it.

That was a rather vital clue.

Well, the flat topped one is Campbell. And that looks like the ascent spur, which would put you over on the other side of Dove . . . maybe on the Horse Track? I never can figure out angles comparing maps and photos.

Correct - nearing Crater Peak - you can see lots of people over on Marions Lookout.

Wow. Can't take all this getting it right much longer.

Thanks. I couldn't get the angles on my photos to quite match up. We probably took a different route up from the saddle. Next one:

I would like to get to Bruny one day.
What named feature am I near?

- Unnamed stack next to Patersons Arch, Tasman Peninsula

I know that pinnacle. Now it's just a matter of remembering whether it's off the Fluted Cape track on Bruny, or over on the Tasman Peninsula. The cave entrance looks more like Tasman, but whichever way I go it will be wrong.

There's a clue here NNW

Well, that's what happens when you go straight to the photo without reading the text.
The hole in the cliffs looks a lot like one of the entrances to what Gary Myors calls Cathedral Cave, which I think is just south of Devils Kitchen. Brilliant diving in there. But there are so many sea caves along that coast.
Thu 28 May, 2020 5:04 pm
I think it is near Fluted Cape

I am not far south of Devils Kitchen - so NNW can have it.
Not sure about underwater caves, but Patersons Arch is just to my right.
Curiously - the unnamed Stack is too abrupt to show up on the List - where one map has it missing and the other shows it as a low part of the mainland
