Maria Island National Park

Maria Island lies less than 5km off the east coast of Tasmania and the whole 9670 hectare island is a National Park. Bishop and Clerk (Western Peak) at 599m is the tallest peak on the island.

Maria Island NP is one of Tasmania's 19 National Parks. The National Park was gazetted in 1972.
